Flu Information

It is not too late to get a flu shot, but I would recommend getting one as soon as possible as it takes 2 weeks to build immunity and there is widespread flu activity across Massachusetts.   You may have heard that this year’s flu vaccine is not as effective as we would like it to be, however it still decreases the severity of the flu, and reduces the risk of hospitalization and death from the flu.

Remember to keep your children home from school if they are displaying possible signs of the flu.  They may return to school once they are fever-free for 24 hours WITHOUT taking fever reducing medicines such as Tylenol and Motrin.

Dear Buker Parents,

We are excited to officially kick off the 2018 Auction - Buker in Bloom, which will be on Saturday, May 12th at The Hamilton-Wenham Community House.

When your child gets home this afternoon make sure to check their backpack!  We sent home a packet explaining the Buker Auction, ways to get involved, who to contact, as well as a wish list of donations we are hoping to receive to make Buker in Bloom a fun and successful fundraiser!

1. Sign Up Genius - please follow the link to volunteer for Buker in Bloom. There are so many different ways to get involved. If you are interested in being part of a planning committee please sign up as soon as possible.

2. Donations Form - if you have an item, service, gift certificate, tickets to a show, box seats, summer camp, vacation home etc. that you would like to donate or know someone who would be interested in donating, please follow the Google form link to document the donation. It is super easy to use and allows the acquisition committee a way to track all of our fabulous donations.

MRMS Presents: James and the Giant Peach!

Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach is now a musical for the whole family to enjoy! Featuring a wickedly tuneful score by the Tony Award-nominated team of Pasek and Paul (Dogfight and A Christmas Story the Musical) and a curiously quirky book by Timothy Allen McDonald (Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley), critics rave: James and the Giant Peach is a "masterpeach!"
