Field Day Kudos

Veteran Field Day coordinator Dina Coffey pulled out all the stops for her swan song!  Many thanks to Dina for all her years of running this annual closing event to our school year.   It's time to pass on the megaphone!

Though the temperature soared our students and staff enjoyed a profitable Fun Run for our playground project.  $4,974.05!!!

The Field Day stations were managed by an enthusiastic group of dedicated parents! Mr. O manned the grill and over 300 hot dogs were consumed!

We ended the day with grade level foot races, and a fifth grade tug of war!

The results are in!

Monday: Fun Run and Field Day

BUKER FUN RUN - LAST CHANCE!
We are happy to announce that there will be an additional challenge to our Field Day events Monday! To kick off Field Day we are holding a fundraising fun run, with all proceeds going toward the playground project.  The event will be much like the Read-A-Thon that we held in December which generated almost $5,000!

Your support for the project this year has been fantastic.  Let's rally again - we are less than $10,000 away from a new playground!  All donations are due Monday!

We appreciate our Friends of Buker!

Many, many thanks to the Friends of Buker for a wonderful week of appreciation!  Holly Gamber and Adrienne Stinson, together with so many parents who helped, made our staff feel so supported!

The Buker staff members are very grateful for the parent support throughout the school year.  This week's breakfast and luncheon were delicious, and the daily raffle such fun. Personalized coffees, sweet treats and useful items (Burt's Bees and markers!) made each day of the week a delight!
