Parent Survey

Please take a moment to complete this brief survey to help us better understand your interest in this topic. Buker Parent Survey

Buker School is working to improve the school experience for our boys. There is a lot of research on the topic of how boys learn and the differences between boys and girls in elementary school. Our staff has been focusing on how to make our classrooms more responsive to the learning needs of boys as we work on narrowing the achievement gap between our boys and girls. In an effort to provide the best learning experience for all of our students, we invite parents and guardians to join with us in learning more about how to support the healthy development of our boys.

Toy Bingo

TOY BINGO is Here!
Wednesday, January 27th, 2016
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. or 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
 Buker Multi-Purpose Room
The Friends of Buker invites you to a pizza dinner and fun night of bingo with toy prizes.  Tickets are $8 per person.  Each ticket includes one slice of pizza, one drink and two bingo cards.  Additional pizza and drinks will be available for $1 each.  There will also be a bake sale to provide dessert.
Everyone attending must have a ticket, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.  Siblings are absolutely welcome.  There are a limited number of tickets for each session, so please return the tear strip with your payment for this popular event as early as possible.
PRIZES:  All prizes are donated by the parents.  We are looking for new toys under $5. They can be anything that you think your kids would like.  Unisex toys such as eight-balls, board and travel games and gift certificates are especially popular.  These toys can be dropped off in the container marked Toy Bingo in the school lobby.  We will need approximately 400 toys to ensure all children receive a toy.  Your donations are greatly appreciated.
VOLUNTEERS:  to help the night of the event.  If you are able to volunteer, please fill out the section below.  If you have any questions, please contact Jen Caufield @ 978-468-3806 | jen.caufield@comcast.net or Marisa Bartlett @ 978-468-1252 | marisabartlett14@gmail.com.  Thanks for your help and we hope to see you there.
As always, for families with financial constraints, please call Kathy Hughes, Adjustment Counselor, at 978-626-0873.  Funds are available to cover entrance fees.  It is important that all Buker families enjoy our school’s activities without restriction.
