Kids Care is kicking off the school year with a community-wide collection to benefit HAWC (Healing Abuse, Working for Change). A table will be set up at Family Fun Night (10/22). HAWC is seeking donations of baby supplies: diapers, baby lotion, baby powder, bibs, wipes, etc. Donations can be brought into school during the month of October. Thank you for supporting Kids Care in helping this worthwhile organization make a difference for many families on the North Shore.
The Friends of Buker mission is to support and enhance the educational experience of all students at the Buker Elementary School. One way this goal is met is through our Cultural Enrichment Programs.
Grants, fundraising events and our Auction Night enable the Friends of Buker to completely fund these programs. Working closely with the teachers, we schedule engaging programs, workshops and residencies that complement each grades curriculum and bring subjects to life for children. This would not be possible without your support. Thank you for your involvement.
