"Under the Stars" Auction Party: This Friday!
Hi Buker Families,
Our on-line portion of the "Under the Stars" Auction is closed, BUT you can STILL purchase advanced Tickets and Raffle Tickets for the GO-PRO HERO 3+.

Please join us for passed hors d'oeuvres, DJ/dancing and socializing, more auction items and raffles. We are only half way there...Our goal is to raise $40K to support cultural enrichment experiences and educational materials. If you cannot make the event, please consider making a donation.

Puberty Program: Gr. 4 & 5
ATTENTION 4th and 5th GRADE PARENTS:

On
Monday, April 7th, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm there will be an information
meeting for parents at the Winthrop School Library, where you will have the
opportunity to view the videos we use and ask questions. I encourage you to join us to learn more
about how we present this information to your children.
Permission slips have been sent home and it
is necessary for these forms to be returned in order for the students to attend
this program. Parents who do not want
their children to participate must indicate that on the form.

Benefit Book Drive! Please bring a gently used book to Open House.
Buker Book Drive
For
Wellspring House
and Salem Children’s Hospital
Kids
Care Club is collecting new and gently used books for the Wellspring House in
Gloucester, as well as the Salem Children’s Hospital. These organizations are in need of books from
birth-adult. Book donations can be sent
to school with your child now through the start of April vacation. Bins will be in the main lobby during Open
House if you would like to bring a book to Open House.
The
Scholastic Book Fair on April 9th and 10th is a buy one,
get one book free fair. There will be a bin in the gym during the
book fair, if you would like to purchase a book for yourself and then donate one
to the book drive.

you in advance for supporting such a great cause.
April is Family Lunch Month!
We look forward
to seeing the many parents who have signed up to attend the family lunch. Please take this opportunity to sample our lunch program and refrain from bringing a fast food lunch option.
Mrs. Mattern and Mrs. Burnham work hard to provide a menu that meets all
of the federal guidelines for school nutrition.
We are always impressed with the fresh foods available for our
lunch.
